Chief Operating Officer & Board Member

Fakhir Ahmad serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of FAITH Social Services. A dedicated nonprofit executive with over 25 years of experience in community-based services, Fakhir oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization, including program development, staff management, financial oversight, donor engagement, and strategic planning.

Under his leadership, FAITH has strengthened and expanded critical services such as emergency financial assistance, housing, food security, scholarships, and counseling. Fakhir plays a key role in grant management, policy implementation, board reporting, and cultivating strategic partnerships to further FAITH’s mission of supporting families in need across Northern Virginia.

He has also helped streamline operations and compliance through enhanced systems for accounting, CRM integration, and program tracking. He is known for his hands-on leadership style, commitment to service, and ability to bring people together for meaningful impact.
